Fatefully Yours Page 14

"No, as long as you're a good boy. Maybe when I come back I can even give you a reward..."

Reward? Hmm, what could it be? Anahí finishes painting her lips a red wine color and I drool like an idiot fixating on her plump, tempting mouth. Ah, hot little cabocla, if your gift is those red lips around my dick, I swear I'll behave, scout's honor.

"Okay, I'm going to get ready too, I want to be back early. What time will you be back? You want me to come and get you? If you give me the address I can go by there after I get rid of Úrsula," I say trying to act uninterested to disguise my curiosity.

"Thank you, Viking, but there's no need. The girls are driving me home afterwards. See you later."

Girls? Who are these girls? I blow a raspberry as soon as she leaves and slowly get ready. I put on dark jeans, black t-shirt with the Nirvana logo, leather jacket, combat boots and I'm ready. Renato and I decide to take my chair, in case I get tired and have to rest my legs and back.

I get out the car slowly, leaning on the crutches, making a point of walking without anyone's help. Jarbas is ahead with the chair and I go into the club last, but happily I reach the table under my own two feet. As soon as they see me, my friends clap and whistle eyeing the crutches. I smile and slowly make a bow, thanking everyone. Úrsula runs to me lively and, by the empty glasses of caipirinha[7] on the table, already drunk. She grips my neck and gives me a loud kiss on the cheek, straightening a devil horn's tiara that keeps falling.

"Kau, you're here! Yey! You don't know how happy that makes me."

"Didn't I say I was coming? My word is my bond, my dear. I learned from my older sister that there's nothing more important for a man than keeping his word."

"Shh! More mature, wiser, more irresistible, but never older! No way!"

I sit down and ask the waitress, dressed in a micro dress so small that it she sneezes the hem will be going up to her chin, for a beer. The club is full and the dance floor is pumping with people, the dark walls, the stage with a few pole dancing poles, the globes and lights flashing from the ceiling give the place an opulent vibe. I look at the women around us, the decadent aura of easy sex and I think it's funny, if I'd been here a few months ago, I would have picked one or two girls to have fun and enjoy the night with, fucking like a machine. But tonight, everything is different...

Even knowing how sexy they are, none of them smell like orange blossom, or have the almond eyes, mouth, addicting body of my little cabocla... I toast my friends, silently thinking how funny my joy of being in the commitment team is, celebrating the wedding of a sister I thought I'd lost, and, why not, also my recovery that improves every day.

Three hours later and my ears are bleeding. I don't know if it’s the whiskey or the electronic dance music the DJ insists on playing, but I can't wait to go home. Suddenly, I think of Anahí dancing samba glued to some asshole thinking he's Don Juan and I'm pissed off. Úrsula hugs me and with a drunken voice sing a Madonna song and asks me, surprisingly insecure.

"Do you think I'll be able to make Lu happy, Kau? Fuck! There are times when I think I don't deserve a woman as beautiful and perfect as her. What if I screw up? You know our Schneider genes suck. Look at Dad, he's surrounded by women but can keep one good one. I'm so afraid of losing my little fairy, Kau."

Little fairy? Fuck, that's a ridiculous nickname. I laugh thinking how cheesy Úrsula and I are.

"That's just insecurity talking, Ursa. I'm sure that if you love your little fairy half as much as I love my little cabocla, even if you mess up, you'll always turn yourself inside out to make her happy. Making her happy makes you happy, because she completes you, sis."

Renato interrupts my conversation with Úrsula, saying mad, "Will you two stop with that touchy-feely bullshit. Fuck Klaus, I thought I was too drunk and seeing things, but it's true. Look who's dancing there, near the stage."

I look in the same direction as Renato and I see a tall black woman wearing a short skirt and a leather bodysuit, moving sexily on the dance floor. The woman is hot, the type of hot that brings out the worst in men. But, honestly, I have no idea who she is.

"Who's the hottie, Renato? Do I know her?" I ask, pointing her out and she throws a kiss our way, making the guys claps and whistle in an uproar. Ciro stands up and says smiling, "You too are committed, but I'm not. That piece of heaven is mine tonight."

Renato yells while hitting the table, furious.

"Watch your mouth, Ciro. If any of you get near her I'll rip your heads off. She's my fucking wife!!!"

Ciro and I ask in unison, unable to believe that's Big's wife.

  "Magali?"

"That's right. She must have come here to tease me, fucking bitch. I'm ending this right now."

Renato stands up and quickly goes in Magali's direction, squeezing between the people on the dance floor. I see them both waving furious arms for long minutes and after Renato comes back to the table with his tails between his legs, asking the waitress for a double whiskey.

"Fuck, today Lili has gone too far. Do you know what she said? ‘Why do you think you have the right to go have fun at a club and I don't? Let me dance with my friends. Tonight, I'm free.’ What the fuck does she mean by 'tonight I'm free'?"

We look at each other, not knowing what to say. Renato watches Magali dancing on the floor, death in his stare. Shit, this isn't going to end well... Less than fifteen minutes later and Renato has gone through two more doses of whiskey, grumbling like a big ogre baby.

"I just came to give Úrsula a hug. Do you see me dancing with any of those bitches? No! How can she leave the house with that leather miniskirt and move her big ass like that, like a skank? I'm putting an end to this right now."

Renato goes back to the dance floor snaking between people until he reaches Magali, who is throwing her hair side to side singing, “It's raining men, hallelujah.” He pushes a skinny white dude that's dancing next to Magali and glares with clenched fists at the other big dude that was getting close. Magali raises her pointed finger at his face but, without giving her time to put up a fight, he catches her by the knees and throws her over his shoulder, leaving the floor in between whistles and clapping from the women.

Renato comes back to our table and tells us to hold the bottles and glasses, pulling the table towel and covering Magali's ass, while she complains like a child throwing a tantrum, kicking and punching his back.

"You Neanderthal. Let me go, you fucking asshole. Put me down, Renato, I want to fucking have fun."

Renato slaps her twice in the ass and tells her in an obvious sexual teasing tone.

"When we get home, that's when our fun begins. I'll take care of you, Lili. Guys, it was a pleasure spending time with you, but I have to get this rebellious girl home. See you tomorrow, Klaus.”

Less than half an hour later I have the Lapa address where Luiza's party is happening and I say goodbye to all, asking Ciro to take me there, so I can get my own rebellious girl, who probably also think she's free tonight, home.

  CHAPTER 19

  ANAHÍ

The sunshine comes through the window waking me up, even when all I want is to snuggle back into my soft bed. I grumble quietly about not closing the curtains, I stretch unhurriedly and look down at my sore body, stopping at my breast, son of a bitch, he said he's mark me so I don't forget I'm his and the two hickeys he left on my skin, are proof he's a man of his word.

The bed is empty but Klaus's woody smell is entrenched on my bed sheets, I inhale his flawless scent, deeply and complain with God, Why does the man have to be so gorgeous, perfect, hot, smell so good, but be so hard to deal with? When I remember the ending of last night, a smile comes to my lips, transforming into a laugh that I can't hold in... It's fact now, Klaus is completely insane. That's the only reason to justify his completely crazy behavior.

First all that talk about me not being jealous that he was going to Úrsula's bachelorette party, who, let's just say, is not trustworthy company, since between all of them, she’s the biggest fl
irt. Then encouraging me to make friends with Luiza's friends and, without telling me, showing up at the bar we were at, embarrassing me by making a huge jealous scene.

I hadn't ever been to Lapa and I loved it, it's an interesting area when the bohemian cariocas[8] get together to surrender to music, specially samba. Filled with comfy bars, chairs on the sidewalk, cold beer, and so many beautiful, fun people, it's impossible not to love. The girls found a great bar and as soon as we went inside, a very nice waiter dragged four tables next to each other so we could sit together. The main star of the show was samba, from chorinho to gafieira[9]. It didn't take long for me to loosen up next to Luiza's friends, and for the rest of the night, I was sure that I had, in fact, made new friends. Luiza and I were instant friends, she's a dedicated pediatrician and I realized we have a lot in common, both focused on our careers, both passionate about what we do, and both coming from a humble background.

I think I drank a little too much, mixing beer and caipirinha, and after my third drink, my shyness left me... I danced, I sang, and I laughed with the girls’ faces and one liners while flirting with some guys on the table next to us. The hours fled and the only thing that took the shine out of the fantastic night was the little nugget of jealousy that I couldn't get rid of... What was Klaus doing? Picturing him drunk and surrounded by strippers made me sick.

I was trying to learn how to dance samba with the girls when a dark-haired man looking like a playboy offered me a drink, invading my personal space. Before I could open my mouth and shut him down, I heard a familiar voice answering for me.

"She doesn't want it. Now leave, dude," Klaus said between gritted teeth.

"Why would I? Are you her husband or something?"

"I'll be in two months, but that's none of your business."

"You're pretty bold for a cripple!" The man said, spoiling for a fight, looking at Klaus up and down.

"Why don't you come closer and see what the cripple can do?" Klaus threw back, facing him with his right hand in a fist.

One of the bar security staff approached both of them and asked if there was something wrong. Then he looks at Klaus intently.

"Are you Klaus Schneider, F1 driver?" He asked with a frown.

Klaus nodded and said embarrassed, "Yes, that's me."

The security guard, even taller and stronger than Renato, excitedly told the two men next to him.

"Ari, Carlos, look! It's Klaus Schneider! I've been your fan for years. I was so sad about your accident, less than eight laps to go before you were the undefeated champion of the season."

  Klaus corrects him, “Five laps."

"All because of that Lewis Jordan, the son of–"

"A bitch. Right, what's your name, friend?" Klaus finishes for him, extending his hand for a firm and sincere handshake.

"Sandoval, sir. Can I get an autograph?"

"Yes of course." Klaus nods and poses for a picture next to the bar's owner while Sandoval goes off to get paper and pen. After taking pictures with two more security guards, Klaus holds my waist and kisses my neck.

"I'm sorry, baby. I had to give them some attention, they're F1 fans. Let's get out of here before I do something dumb and break that asshole’s nose."

"Why are you here? Were the strippers Úrsula hired not to your taste?" I ask, crossing my arms, unable to keep the jealousy from my voice.

“They were all blondes and I didn't like it. To be honest, my tastes go for exotic, I'm hung up in a beautiful little cabocla, with a body that makes me crazy. I think you know her. Her name's Anahí Saraíba, but in two months she's going to be Mrs. Schneider," Klaus whispers in my ears.

  "Two months?"

"Yes. Why? How long were you thinking of stringing me along for?" He asks, arching his eyebrow.

"It's not that, but two months is not long to organize a wedding," I tell him, still surprised by the idea of marrying so fast.

"Two months is more than enough time if you have the money, baby. We'll talk about this later; can we leave now?"

I say goodbye to the girls who give Klaus killing looks, but the truth is, ever since I saw him leaving the house with this bad boy look, I've been fantasizing about making love to him wearing nothing but the leather jacket and combat boots. Ciro was waiting for us in a car near the bar door and Klaus lowered his hand to my waist, walking slowly then sitting next to me.

Klaus pulled my legs on his lap, taking off my high heels and rubbing my feet while talking with Ciro. I kept quiet, trying to ignore that fact that I was getting turned on, my sex getting wetter with each movement of Klaus's fingers on my ankles, sliding his hands under my jeans, over my calves, to the back of my knees... I discreetly rub my legs together and Klaus faces me with lidded eyes, quickly understanding the effect his subtle petting has on me. We say goodbye to Ciro and go into the building straight to the elevator, Klaus and I taking deep breaths, he turned his face to mine and our gazes collided, the he lowered his to my mouth. As soon as the door to the elevator opens we walk to our penthouse loft and Klaus opens the door quickly ushering me inside. We take our clothes as fast as possible and before he could take the boots I stopped him.

"No, I want you to keep the boots and put the jacket back on."

"My sexy little cabocla, such a pervert. It's okay, I don't want you to take off your heels. I want them on my shoulder while I suck on you sweet pussy."

That night I had my desires fulfilled, riding my man sprawled on the couch, wearing his boots, holding on to his leather jacket while Klaus made me see stars, with my heels resting on his shoulder while he thrust frenziedly in me. After we made love on the floor of the bedroom and the bed, he said while petting my hair.

"I was serious about our wedding. I don't want to wait any longer, Anahí."

"Two months is too little time, Viking."

"Are you scared? Don't you want to be with me anymore?"

  "It's not that Klaus."

"Then it's done. Just give Douglas, my lawyer, your papers and leave the rest to us. You trust me?"

  "Of course," I answer quickly.

"Great, then we'll have a gorgeous wedding in two months, little cabocla."

  KLAUS

I wake to the sound of raised voices coming from the living room and get up scared. What is happening? I put on my boxers and get the crutches following the sound of Úrsula crying. When I get to the living room I see Úrsula completely falling apart, crying out of control and hugging Renato. I approach her, scared, and Úrsula throws herself into my arms, hiccupping.

"The wedding is off. They did it, Klaus."

"What are you talking about? What happened, Ursa?" I ask worriedly, not understanding why Úrsula is so out of control like this.

"Ever-... everything is dest-... destroyed. The table tow-...towels ripped, the flowers, the ballroom walls covered in paint. She even destroyed the altar."

"Who did this, Úrsula?" Did Luiza go crazy jealous and decided to stop the wedding? If it's that I don't know how Úrsula will be able to deal.

"M-...Mom," she says falling to her knees in front of me and hiding her face.

"How? It can't be!” No, no! It's not possible that Débora’s capable of type of destruction against her own daughter. I disagree out loud and Úrsula raises her voice, completely out of control.

"You best believe it, Kau. The catering staff told me that an elegant blonde haughtily told them that I had sent her to change some things. She introduced herself as my mom and asked the decorating staff to leave the ballroom and leave her alone, because if it was not the way she wanted they'd all be sued. They only realized something was wrong when they heard the noise that she was making. When they went inside, mom had done the damaged and was breaking the altar. They called me and the police, but when they got there she's was gone."

No, even though Débora is arrogant and headstrong, doing something like this is too cruel. I can't believe it.

"Maybe it was one of you ex-girlfriends that was pretending to be Mom. Unless s
omeone from the caterers took a photo of her, no one can be sure it was her..."

Before I can finish talking, Úrsula takes her phone out and turns it so I can see it, it's a message from Débora:

I told you there'd be consequences if you kept shaming our name. Well, it’s done. One day you'll thank me, I'm doing this for your own good.

  "Gods, so it's true!”

Úrsula nods and I throw myself on the couch, dismayed.

"Luiza is distraught that we have to postpone the wedding. She didn't deserve this kind of disappointment on such a special day. You know how women are, she's dreamt of this day and I... fuck, I wanted to make my girl smile, Kau."

Renato looks at us unhappily and goes to the bar, grabbing three glasses of whiskey, one for each. I drink the whiskey in one go, and ask Renato.

"And why are you here on your day off?"

"Lili brought the children to the beach near and I wanted to see how you were doing. It's like I knew something was wrong."

I take a deep breath and pat the couch so he sits next to me.

"Big, I know today is your day off, and if you can't I understand. But I really need you right now."

  "What is it, Klaus?"

"We have a wedding to put together."

"Let's do it. What do you want me to do?"

"There's no time, the ballroom is ruined," Úrsula says, shaking her head.

I hold Úrsula's sweaty hands and answer looking at her and Renato.

"We're changing venues. We'll have the wedding on the country, my place in Mangaratiba is huge. It will be perfect, Úrsula. Tell Luiza to be ready in time, okay?”

Anahí gets up soon after and I tell her the full day we have ahead, we need to coordinate with the caterers to take everything to the farm. I write a generous check to pay for the damages mom caused and we divide the work. Some organizing the farm for a countryside ceremony, others calling the guests giving out the new address. It’s a mess. Renato leaves to the farm early with his family to help me out. Anahí and Magali are in charge of decorating and the catering, and when we look at everything ready next to be pool we can hardly believe that we pulled it off.
